Kim, I am impressed with your game at times, but one side note. I thought Cole was trolling during the rock vote at F8 but he confirmed that he just forgot to vote in his confessional/forgot to vote/assumed his public vote would count, and that he would have voted you out at F8. This important fact hasn't come up during this final tribal council but he confirmed that you would've left at F8 if it was a public vote which he thought it was. Anyway, my question is, what went into your decision making in not aiming for Christina during my boot and other points within the game?
Lol girl I wish Cole had been trolling. I've brushed on this a little bit in my other answers and literally my only defense to this is that Cole misinterpreted the rules fair and square. I think it counts for something that he voted with me against Roark in the first place and then continued to try and sway Matt/Ryan over. Honestly though, at the end of the day, I don't think Cole flipped on me because he didn't trust me or anything like that; I just don't believe he would go to rocks for anyone if it meant giving up his safety in the game. I can't blame him because he was probably in one of the best positions in the game and rocks threw that all away. Again, it's not like he flipped on me immediately and just forgot to vote or something, he didn't try to flip on me until the very end. Jeff did say you don't have to change your revote UNLESS you are switching your vote so if you want to use it as a strike against me, fair, but just know it's not my fault that I'm still here.
As for your vote out, I was 100% pushing for you to stay here and for Christina to go home. I kept telling people that the chances she played her idol were low and so the plan was to split the votes with Christina going home. I wanted this plan because I believed that I could have worked with you going forward in the game whereas there were a lot more obstacles with Christina. Trust me, I was an avid supporter of voting Christina out at multiple points in the game, but her immunity wins and idol made that very difficult to do. The reason you went home at that tribal instead of Christina was because people got too paranoid that Christina would catch wind of the plan and use her idol and someone would have messed up the split vote. Patrick told me since it was his name on the line that he felt a lot more comfortable voting for you and not trying to make sure the split vote plan worked. I mentioned this in some of my other posts, but I felt that Patrick was someone who I could legitimately trust and I wanted to go the distance with him. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices so that your allies feel like they have a say in what goes on. I talked about how I defended the people who I was loyal to (Simone/Patrick/Cole) and this was a prime example of where I showed my loyalty. In hindsight, we should have got rid of Christina, but it's too little too late and now we're both here at the end so I mean it wasn't necessarily a bad move, but probably the move I think I regret not making the most. Obviously it's impossible to expect that someone will win seven immunities and have an idol as a backup so at the time, it was more of a "better luck next time" sort of thing, but we all see how that turned out. I hope this answers your question and clears up how voting you out was definitely my biggest mistake in this game and I'm owning it. I wanted to work with you and I gave that up so I could keep my other relationships solid.
