"Once we got to tribal council and the way Ryan had been acting, I was unsure if he would really vote Matt, so I voted for Patrick to blend in with the vote. Turns out we both had that gut feeling and we both decided to make that split decision at the last moment. "

What? This is the dumbest shit ever so she did it just to "blend in with the vote" ? what does this mean? It was so obvious ryan was voting matt after matt and roark said outright they were never trusting ryan again thats why i said i wasnt voting for ryan so hed work with us. I thought they got me out because I was a threat if they just did it to blend in thats a horrific misjudgement considering we would have won 4-3 if they had stuck to the plan? that is a real downside to sim1s game tbh
i think she voted you because you refused to vote ryan, when kim extended an invitation to do so. as i was reading you saying you would refuse to vote ryan, and everyone else saying i'm voting pat, it was obvious that you were going home. it makes sense to me where simone is coming from, saying she wanted to blend in with the vote- i'm sure it was really hard to write your name down. but i'm sure it was a mix of you being a threat, and her wanting to assimilate with the rest of the tribe. i mean, she's managed to not have the target on her back the entire game because of her skill to "blend in". we couldn't rely on sticking with the plan the entire time, with ryan flipping, or roark spilling the beans as soon as something was solid. that's the nature of the game. we did manage to be somewhat organized quite a few times, which is surprising considering the circumstances. i feel pretty confident that you wouldn't have been voted out had you said to kim that you're down to vote out ryan. simone would have wanted to "blend in" in the same way, and just go with what she thought was majority. but you easily could have been voted out shortly after, because you would have been labeled a threat.

i like simone's FTC speech the best. i feel pretty solidly that i want to vote for her. i feel like while christina's game looks great on paper, she didn't play a strong social game. she didn't know what was going on half the time. i never once had a genuine conversation with her. the only time we worked together she tried to fuck me over, and was on the losing end of the vote. she just went with whatever most of the time, because she was kept out of the loop because of her chosen alliance members / she was a threat. it's a great final 3, i have to say. but i feel pretty firmly planted to vote for simone, but i'm curious to read everyones questions, and see how they respond.

what is everyone feeling like at this stage? is the group consensus christina?

we didnt have the numbers to vote out ryan that makes 0 sense cole. at best it would have been 3-3-1. Ryans not voting for himself. And if that was the case she would have said that in her FTC.

you always stick to the plan you make before tribal, changing shit at tribal is nonsensical and leads to terrible mistakes (you should know this cole). thats why iwas not especially worried that we would vote out matt once i realised ryan had flipped to us. kim and simone flipping for any other reason other to eliminate me as a threat rather than just being scared of a tie is stupid and brash

what? matt candidly said during tribal he was down to vote ryan. kim said that she was down to vote ryan. obviously simone would have voted ryan. plus your vote, that would be four against ryan. i'm not sure if roark would have voted ryan, but she could have possibly been swayed had you not said that you weren't down to turn on him? but if she had, that would have been 5 vs 2. (not including ryans extra vote) christina probably would have voted you, and if you had agreed to vote ryan, he would have voted you + his extra vote, it would have been a 3-5, had roark not been on your side, it would have been otherwise have been a tie, right? i mean, it would have been worth a shot to try and keep yourself in the game for longer.

you dont make those decisions at tribal regardless. thats how you get conned, could have all been a ploy from roark/matt/ryan to mix up our votes. you sort out your plan before hand and stick.

Yea I was pretty worried I would go in a unanimous vote. I think Patrick saying he wouldn't vote for me saved me.

that's the impression i got while watching tribal. sometimes you need to make last second changes, your life in the game is very fragile and at a drop of a dime, things can change and not go your way. trust me, i know.

Definitely not Christina for me. I'm debating between Kim and Simone. So far I don't agree with Simone saying she was the middle man between Kim and I, and that she convinced me to tell Kim about my extra vote. But those are just small things. Still waiting to hear what Kim has to say.

yeah, i definitely don't want to vote for christina either. i think kim & simone were miles ahead of her, strategy wise, and socially. i feel like she think she has it in the bag.

JONAS I need your insight cause I'm curious.

If Alan had at least shown up for challenges, would you and Leif have gone with our plan to vote out Julie? I always wondered if y'all were being real or not.
I really did NOT want to vote out Julie. If it had come to it, I may have fought for it some more, but if Leif was being truthful to me, we were considering alternative options to keep Julie in the game.
I had been really glad that we didn't have to do that, though, because I was genuinely wanting to work with both you and Chrissy alongside Leif and Julie. Once merge came that didn't turn out great, but that was the thinking/plan.

Christina was top dog pre merge which is why she was ranked No.1 on her tribe. She hit it out of the park with me on Atitaya so much that I dropped my plans in blindsiding her and that idol. Her not being social with people clearly targeting her doesn’t have much to do with her lacking socially. I would’ve done the same thing —— I HATE SMALL TALK. Simone, at least to me, lacked in the social department on our original tribe although I realize she was quite busy.

There was no reason for Christina to be forcing fake convos with you and Patrick, etc., especially considering the fact you guys knew where you stood. You guys had plenty of opportunities to get her out too —- four times in fact, and whether you were too scared of her idol, her bluffing and call outs, that’s on you. I assure you that if it was me there’s not a chance in hell that she wouldn’t have gotten some votes even if it meant me getting idol’d out.

I was public enemy #1 multiple times in this game, yet I was able to repair relationships (specifically with Simone and Kim at final 6). Christina failed to repair any relationships, and instead went down the "chaos" route, which didn't influence any of my decisions and I don't think it influenced many others.

How could Christina repair relationships that she never had with you guys anyway? You knew where she stood and she knew where you guys stood. Her having strategy convos with Cole and Patrick would’ve been so forced and fraudulent. She knew if she didn’t have immunity or idol bluffing then she was gone —- even Matt wanted her out and so did I. And, you have to realize —- when Christina took that public idol we all wanted her out and I remember discussing I with you and others specifically. The fact that the most outspoken player and in your face person made the F3 is amazing.

And, Christina was vulnerable at 7 tribal councils. The fact that we couldn’t work around her idol is our fault, not hers.

I gotta say, I'm with Ali on this one.
What's a person really supposed to do when everyone sees them as a threat and everyone else is thinking "If X loses, we vote them out." If you talk to those people about strategy you know you won't be able to trust them. Go to them and say "Hey, so.... if I win again, what do you want to do?"
People should have a back up for those situations, but that's a tough spot to be in as someone.

You were there, though, Ryan. Can you say that anyone was honestly willing to work with her considering her "threat"?

Christina was really impressive in exposing the flaws of Kim and Simone but I hope she realizes there were many flaws in her own game.

She failed my second question though. The answer that I'm looking for from the three of them is NOBODY deserves their spot more than them. I do agree, though, her answer to my first question was good

My follow up for Kim is was she playing me the whole time? Cause after the rock draw, she told she would have taken me to final 3 had I not flipped, and that she considered us in an alliance.

So either she ain't being truthful right now or she was playing me the whole time (which I'd rather hear).
