13 people is a lot, now that you are all one tribe what's the plan on making sure you're in the majority?
It sure is. A scary amount of a lot. At this point, I'm relying on word. I've taken the opportunity to try to build a relationship with everyone I've gotten the chance to speak to, swaps included, and I feel like that has been paying off well. At this point, if all is accurate and people stick with it, at least for a few rounds, we should have a solid 7 in Christina, Kim, Ryan, Chrissy, Leif, Julie, and myself. We're hoping we can get Matt, Simone, and Roark over to our side, as well. That would be nice.
Who is your ideal person to be voted out next?
I would love to get Cole out. I've built and a very good relationship with Julie and I don't suspect that she'd be throwing out false information just to stir trouble. If she's saying something then it's likely there's merit (re: once she found out she was definitely wrong about Matt she owned up to that and apologized for it).
So that being the case, I don't like what I've heard nor what I keep hearing. He's being shifty and frankly, even with it just being a game, shitty.
Do you think the whole Cole vs. Julie craziness will have an impact on the first vote?
I do. I believe Julie has established a good bond with a number of people and they may be questioning Cole's behavior, as well. While Julie may have been very blunt and outspoken about it, I'm inclined to feel the target was painted very darkly on Cole.
There was a lot of talk at the last tribal council about voting out inactive people over active people. Is this still the case or does it change now that the merge has come?
I don't think there are any inactives left to vote out. At this point, I think I've talked to everyone and seen about everyone on every time (excepting occasions like work interfering). From here on out, it's about either keeping with an alliance or working that line to break them apart.
Does your gameplan change at all now that it's an individual game?
Currently no. I'd like to see through to the end with Julie and I intend to keep it that way.
I'd really like to keep playing with Christina, Kim, Chrissy, and Ryan, as well. They're good players and I'd be happy to have to be pitted against any of them for a final tribal. For now, looking ahead, the most difficult part would come with having to choose one of them.
You know what? Why don't you give me some type of rundown of what you think of everyone left in the game? Who you think is with you or against you, who you want to work with, who you want to work against, who you like, who you hate, etc.
Ali: I have no read on her. I've spoken to her a little, but am not really sure where she's at. Her speech is rather "short", but she has reached out to me first on a few occasions, so there's a sign of an interest to talk. This being the case, currently, I don't have much going here for someone to work with.
Chrissy: I believe Chrissy to be with me. I would love to keep working with Chrissy and build a closer bond as things move forward here. She's a good person.
Christina: I've been a fan of Christina since day one. She's friendly, fun, and just a really cool person. We've had all sorts of good chats both pertaining and irrelevant to the game. I've been very excited to get back to working with her and feel pretty confident we're on the same side.
Cole: I haven't directly seen any of the negative I hear he is spouting, but I'm wary. I wasn't much a fan of his answers during the merge tribal and I don't like the implications of what I'm hearing he has said. Thusly, I am not a fan. The game would be better with him gone. It's just unfortunate that he does get to be on the council.
Julie: Love Julie. She's great. Been forming a bond with her since I first posted and brought up Japan. She's got a lovely personality, she's not afraid of confrontation, and she's got a caring nature. She's got my back and I've got hers. Final three with her would be pretty peachy by me.
Kim: I really like Kim. Hadn't gotten to talk to her as much as I would have liked before the split, but we had some good, fun conversations anyways. She's a bit concerned with the state of things, so I'm hoping I can bring some comfort for her. I'd like to work with her and keep her here for a while!
Leif: Leif is a cool dude. He's smart and a good thinker here and seems to be a solid ally. I'm hopeful for what we can accomplish.
Matt: I don't know much about Matt yet, but I'm hearing he's willing to work with us. I believe he will, but we'll see how that goes.
Patrick: Patrick seems like a really cool guy. Chill. Good sense of humor. Fun to talk to. Unfortunately, he's put himself in a bad alliance with Cole. I think that's going to spell his doom.
Roark: I don't have much of a read on Roark yet. She seems nice. Gave immunity to Ryan and Kim and that seems to be a boon for our cause. I'll be getting to know her more to see where she sees herself fitting.
Ryan: Ryan is great. Very strong ally in this game since meeting up and I feel a solid trust with him that I don't fully feel with most everyone else (Julie excepting). He's given info and loyalty that I've appreciated greatly. I want to keep working with him.
Simone: I've only barely talked with Simone but she's hilarious. Really spunky personality and seems like the type to want to mix things up and have some fun with this game. I believe she'll be in with us here early, but I'll expect to see her go for some blind-sides and shake-ups later down the road.
Also, feel free to air ANY AND ALL of your game thoughts here. (It surprisingly helps.)
At this point, I'm hoping with all hope that Cole doesn't have an idol. I want him gone. Kaput. Out of here!
It's feeling like we might be able to pull together a solid group to do a split and ensure that we either get him or an ally of his out. That would be a really solid way for the first round of merge to go. That being the case, just have to hope that neither him nor his allies win immunity.
I just saw Jeff's post about Julie, too. I damn near had a heart attack. I'm glad the ruling wasn't to ban her, but phew is it scary. I know she didn't mean anything by it and likely just wanted to share her art. Honestly, I didn't even know etsy had a chat feature (I guess it does have PMs with vendors and such, but that only just now occurred to me).
At least now that warning has been put out there and she can be more careful with that. I would really hate to see a good player go because of a mishap and forgetting about a rule.
Other than that. I'm just loving this so far. It's kind of overwhelming trying to keep up chatting with everyone, but it's fun at the same time!
