real talk, i have to say that this final 3 is awesome. all three of them have really taken the time to think about the questions they've been asked and have responded with what i feel like a lot of thought. right now, i'm actually pretty divided between simone and kim. i want to know what everyone else is thinking! let's try and sway each other to vote who we think deserves to win! i want to be persuaded. on one hand, i think simone played a really under the radar game, and was an awesome player. kim was much louder, but played a similar game. you guys, PLEASE don't hold it against her that i made a mistake not voting her out on F8- that was completely my fault, not hers. if you think she deserves to win by ever other facet of the game, then vote her. she earned her stripes. looking forward to hearing what my ponderosa family is feeling at this moment, i need all of your input rn! icon_blush

Christina has had the best answers and figured out I was the vote for her. Surprised Kim was able to decipher it.

blehhh i think her answers are convoluted and too butthole licky. like most of her game. she just doesn't feel authentic to me. but i can tell you're locked with christina, and i get that- simone and kim were both major allies of mine, and i feel like they both equally deserve to win (more so than christina) so it's a tough one for me. christina always rubbed me the wrong way, all though i admit that when i first got the boot i was rooting for christina, bc i didn't think kim or simone would make it to F3. so for the fact that they pulled it off, i want to support them. christina was obviously making it to the end. i knew she would because she was fucking us all up in challenges... like, is she really good at challenges, or do we just all suck at them?? idk. aside from her answers, why do you think i should vote for her over simone or kim, ali?

I'm also stuck between Simone and Kim, and here's why:

Simone I've always felt was a lesser character the entire season. I never really felt like she was providing much input into decisions. I'm sort of feeling differently after hearing from all y'all and her. A big thing about her game is that she claims to be the middle man between Cole and Patrick (could y'all testify?). If she really was the middle man, then I respect her game a lot and may vote for her. I'm not sure what other reason I have though.

Kim was always someone I saw as a huge social threat and specifically a threat to my game. She was aligned with the people that I wanted to align with (Jonas, Leif, Ali, Patrick, Cole). So I tried a lot of times to get her out of this game, but no one else was willing to cut her when I wanted to. AND even though I approached her at final 6, she came off as approachable. Like even though I was gunning for her the entire game we still kept a really good relationship going and we were able to mend it. I think all of that speaks to the amount of pull she had in this game. I'm hesitant to vote her cause I don't know if she would have been able to make it to the end with her Alliance of Cole, Patrick, Simone, Kim if I never flipped. Cole and Patrick y'all both always told me you'd eventually get rid of her, but was it true? How far were y'all willing to take her?

I can see why you would see that, but she definitely was a definitive character IMO. I regarded her highly, and took a lot of consideration in her opinions through out the game. However, I disagree that she was a middle man between Patrick & me. Patrick and I, in my perception, had just as much, or more so in many ways, of a dynamic relationship. She didn't bring the two of us together, or we didn't use her to communicate between the two of us if that's what you mean by middleman. What do you exactly mean when you use that term? I don't recall her using that phrase to describe our relationship between her, I and Patrick. I would love to hear you elaborate on that! But I do feel like she is worthy of winning, just as much as Kim. I agree that Kim played a similar game, but because she openly communicated with more people, more individuals in the jury feel hurt by her so might be more hesitant to vote her, rather than Simone, who has made less genuine connections, so it might feel less personal to vote her? Is that how you feel? Or am I way off? haha. Yeah, what's interesting is I was planning on playing my idol on the 6th and somehow use the idol to blindside Kim with that vote. It was all a part of my master plan, but alas, it didn't come to fruition lol. But yeah, 100% I was going to get rid of her when the time suited my game best. I didn't want to get her out at my last tribal because I felt like I could use her for a few more rounds. I 100% had her back though, and every time you would tell me you wanted to vote her, I would tell her so I could further solidify her trust in me, because I found her to be a more valuable ally than you. Who knows what would have happened if you didn't flip on us, Ryan. haha. But you grew a spine, and I am proud of you for that, and it was fun to see your transformation.

I think my biggest thought on the "Christina was obviously making it to the end" mindset is that, was she really?
As much as we say and saw that, there were very good opportunities where people could have voted her out, so why didn't they? People were either intimidated away by her idols like she said (in which case, great play on her part for actually keeping votes off of her for it and for holding on to the idol) or they didn't see her as 'that' big a threat to go for quite so soon, thinking they could do it later.
Did you personally view her as maybe not as much of a threat? Or when you were in the game had you sort of resigned even then that she wasn't going anywhere and gave up on planning to boot her?

As for Kim or Simone, yeah, I've got little to work with. I've liked what I've read of her responses so far but I didn't really have anything with her (like I did with Kim or Christina). I can definitely see where she was able to weave through and play her game and respect it, but Christina or Kim are looking like greater options to me currently.

Kim might have a little more "heart" while I think Christina had more "drive", so-to-speak.

yeah, i understand that you are edging towards christina because you had a strong connection with her, right? yeah, it seemed pretty apparent to me that she was, it wasn't surprising to me how she just kept winning them. as for the chances to vote her out, things kept getting changed in the last minute and people wanted to go with the safer route. they would rather vote someone that for sure doesn't have an idol, and don't want to end up on the wrong side of the vote. i viewed her as a threat that needed to be eliminated, but i also thought that she was eventually going to fuck up and get the boot. i know i'm contradicting myself, but i def was under the impression that we would eventually pull it off. i'm just not surprised that she persevered. she definitely has drive & will power. i personally never resigned and gave up on booting her.

it's hard to want to vote simone when you had no relationship with her, so i understand.

also, props to patrick for having the best jury questions evar. i loved that christina roast lmfao. you're a savage. icon_lol

Sorry, Simone said in her response to my question that she was the "sandwich meat" between you/Pat and me/Kim. I interpreted being "sandwich meat" as being the middle man. I could be completely wrong though.

I almost feel more inclined to vote Kim because we had a more personal connection than I had with Simone. I see what your saying though that folks may be more hurt if the personal connection was stronger. I think that's also why I see more of Kim's game, cause I talked with her probably more than anyone.

Thanks for that last bit! On a side note, I think I really had the wrong approach throughout the game cause I tried to play by myself and wouldn't be honest with people. I would downplay EVERY relationship I had with everyone and wouldn't give anyone my REAL strategic thoughts. Like I never told anyone how much I valued you, and I always told you and Patrick "I haven't really talked with Roark or Matt, not sure I can get them on our side" when in reality I trusted Matt probably more than any one of y'all and talked quite a bit of strategy with Roark. I think that definitely negatively affected how I was perceived by all y'all, cause god damn it I was never playing anyone else's game! icon_lol

Kim, imo, has had the worst answers so far. I feel like 1) Simone doesn't deserve it because she literally asked to be voted out and
2) Kim wouldn't even be here if Cole and Ryan didn't make mistakes

Idk I just think Christina deserves it. She has been a target from the beginning and everyone, literally everyone, has tried to get her out but was unable to. I feel like we're gonna make a huge mistake not voting for her

She’s defined this season IMO. Now, she definitely didn’t play a perfect game by any means but she’s impressed me more than the other two. There’s not a chance in hell I expected her to make it this far after her taking that public idol within seconds. And, I’m tired of this thing about her hiding behind her idol when there were so many ways around it.

i don't think kim should be blamed for my or ryan's mistakes, it isn't her fault we made them. that was just her luck from the survivor gods, and sometimes that plays a huge role in the game. simone said that she was asked to be voted out to split the votes, so that was a strategy play on her part. so i also don't think simone should be blamed for that, that's just a manipulation tactic by christina to get u to vote for her. i personally don't think christina deserves it, and will not vote for her. i think kim / simone are much more deserving winners, and all around more interesting characters from the season. chirstina is the classic boring winner on survivor imo. i really hope she doesn't win. i respect ur opinion tho chrissy

I see your point too. I didn't read Simone's answer to my question until after I made this observation so things have changed a bit. I still feel like Christina deserves it. She was public enemy #1 for basically the entire game and she was a character to be feared throughout the entire thing. She doesn't 100% have my vote yet, but she's the biggest contender for it.

i think simone's answers have been the best. her response to julie's questions were so on point. she's trying real hard, i think christinas whole gif thing is reaaaaaallllyyyyy old and just not cute anymore. sry. she spends way too much time trying to be funny with that shit and not putting enough effort into her answering her questions succinctly. maaan this is tough.

Simone is claiming a lot of crap that I don't think she has the right to claim, specifically saying she brought me and Kim together at the final 6. I don't agree with that AT ALL. I'm gonna wait till tonight to get Kim's perspective though.

I tried to vote Kim with you so many times and you freaked out every single time. Plus, Kim was talking mad shit about you so I don't think she saw things the same way you did
